I began my wedding planning journey in Lake Tahoe. The views were beautiful, the logistics were complex, and I quickly fell in love with the heart of this work. Not just the planning but the people. The stories. The quiet, meaningful moments most guests never see. That’s the foundation of SSY Events. To walk alongside you. To listen well. And to offer the kind of support that lets you focus on what matters most.
While Lake Tahoe was magical, I always dreamed of one day planning weddings in my home state (OKLAHOMA!!). And as life often does, it opened a door I didn’t expect. In 2022, I moved back home, brought She Said Yes Weddings with me, and reimagined it as SSY Events. A new chapter, rooted right here in the state that means the most to me.
